How to find the model number, serial number or IMEI number of a phone?
All mobile devices have a unique identity that consists of an IMEI number, a serial number and a model number. Depending on the model of your device, there are a few different ways to obtain this information.
IMEI CODE
The IMEI is a USSD code pre-recorded on cell phones. This code uniquely identifies your device worldwide, and is transmitted by the device to the network when connected to it.
The Undersecretary of Telecommunications (Subtel) called on people who buy mobile devices (phones, tablets, etc.) abroad to register them in our country.
Users will have a period of 30 consecutive days to regularize the situation. Otherwise, the device will be blocked and they will not be able to access the mobile networks of national companies until the IMEI unblocking process is completed.
This code is usually printed on the label under the battery of your mobile device next to the barcode. However, by typing the combination *#06# the IMEI will appear on the screen, regardless of the model and brand you have.
